HSBC, Hang Seng Bank Join 7 Social Welfare Organizations to Push Post-Fire Relief Efforts

HSBC and HANG SENG BANK (00011.HK) announced a collaboration with seven social welfare organizations to support families and residents affected by the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po. Among their partners are the Hong Kong Red Cross, Food Angel, The Community Chest of Hong Kong, and four charitable organizations participating in the HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Program. Last week, the two banks announced a donation of HKD30 million to support immediate relief and post-fire efforts, of which the first round of HKD15 million will be donated to the aforementioned organizations.
