STARPLUS LEGEND (06683.HK) opened a themed art show titled 'The Remarkable Ancestors - CHOUCHOU's Time Travel Adventure' at the Shanghai Museum (People's Square), in conjunction with the 36th Shanghai Tourism Festival. The narrative is based on the official nijigen-style personality of Jay Chou, CHOUCHOU. Franki Lai, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, said in a media interview that, considering a series of activities at the event such as the themed art show, float parade and instagrammable points, STARPLUS LEGEND has invested over RMB10 million. Referring to the previous 13-month Egyptian exhibition at the Shanghai Museum, which generated a total revenue of US$100 million (approx. RMB780 million), with about half from merchandise and the other half from ticket sales, the Company expected the GMV for this event to exceed RMB100 million.
