In September, the average price of newly built residential properties in 100 cities across China was RMB16,926 per square meter, up 0.09% MoM and 2.68% YoY, maintaining positive growth, the China Index Academy (CIA) released a report saying. In 3Q25, the total price hike for newly built homes in 100 cities was 0.47%, narrowing by 0.17 ppts from 2Q25. In September, the average price of second-hand homes in 100 cities was RMB13,381 per square meter, down 0.74% MoM and 7.38% YoY, the report added. As of September, the price of second-hand homes in 100 cities has been declining MoM for 41 consecutive months.
