On the first day of the long holiday in Mainland China combining National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday (October 1), Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Xi'an, Nanjing, Shenzhen, and Wuhan became popular domestic destinations, according to the data from Ctrip, a mainland travel platform.
