HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)'s Chairman, Mark Tucker, resigned today (30th), but the Group has yet to decide on a successor, causing market unease, according to the Financial Times.

Both current and former HSBC HOLDINGS executives considered the vacancy in the chairman position to be highly unusual, and UK regulators also urged the bank to promptly determine a candidate.
