The Hainan Provincial International Tourism And Consumption Destination and Tourism Market Rectification Leading Group released the 'Three-Year Action Plan for High-Quality Development of Marine Tourism in Hainan Province,' which clarifies that the core focus for the next three years will be 'land-sea linkage' to promote a comprehensive upgrade of marine tourism. The action plan aims to receive over 18 million tourists and achieve tourism revenue exceeding RMB40 billion by 2027. It also plans to establish 35 marine A-grade scenic spots, 8 tourist resorts, 20 intangible cultural heritage projects, 10 marine ranch tourism projects, over 100 coastal countryside tourist spots and 500 ocean-themed guesthouses.
