Over the past weekend, GWMOTOR (02333.HK) has officially commenced operations at the Brazilian plant acquired from Daimler. Shi Qingke, president of GWM's international business unit, revealed that the company has begun searching for a suitable location for a second factory. Although the GWM's annual production capacity is 50,000 vehicles, its ultimate goal is to sell 250,000-300,000 vehicles in Brazil, including domestically produced and imported cars, Shi added.
